The Boyds Collection began in 1979 as a small antique shop in rural Maryland. As we hunted the country back roads for affordable antiques, we realized that others must be looking for the same quality, collectibility, and affordability...and set out to design, produce and market our own beautiful collectible products. Over the past twenty plus years we`ve grown, evolved and progressed...but we still strive to offer a combination of Aesthetics, Craftsmanship, and Whimsy that represent a true value to today`s collector. From the very first duck decoy that we handpainted in our Maryland shop...through our introduction of a merino wool bear in 1984...to the Bearstone Collection...and wide range of products we continue to create...we continue to strive to add new additions all the time and be as creative as possible...
